Three rings nest inside one another, each smaller as it descends. All lean slightly outward, and together they build the silhouette of a stepped dome.

The bands are cut through with rumi and palmette work — but not one pattern; three densities. Bold and open on the upper ring, tighter at the middle, needle-fine on the lowest. Seen from below, the three textures overlay and give the piece depth.

The outside is patinated, the inside left bright. The lamps hide between the rings, so the light bounces off polished brass before leaving sideways through the cutwork. Nothing falls directly downward — no one sitting beneath it is dazzled, yet the ceiling and walls carry three separate rings of lace.

Ø100 cm, approximately 40 cm deep. Chain made to the room.

Cutting three different densities on one piece means three separate setting-outs. Each ring is drawn, pierced and trued on its own before the three are assembled, and the spacing between them is set by hand.

Bulbs not included. Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Made in our own Istanbul workshop since 1984.
