A monumental two-tier ring chandelier in the classic language of Ottoman mosque and palace lighting. Made in two sizes: Ø150 × 220 cm and Ø160 × 250 cm.

Hand-cut rumi and geometric fretwork wraps both bands, backed with opal glass that softens the output into a warm, glare-free glow. Six-sided lanterns stand around the outer ring; the inner rings carry rows of glass-shaded lamps. Lit, it throws a lace of shadow across the ceiling.

Size, finish and lantern count made to order.

Chandeliers of this size are not sold from stock. They are engineered to the ceiling height, the fixing point and the light level required, and a technical drawing and installation diagram are issued before production begins. In mosques and ballrooms the supporting structure must be checked in advance.

The carving is done by hand; every border is cut separately and its edges trued individually. The antique copper surface is not a plating but worked into the metal.

Bulbs not included. Size, colour and the number of lanterns are made to order. Made in our own Istanbul workshop since 1984.
