Table Lamp

A shade that multiplies the light instead of hiding it.

The table size of Vintage Halo. The pleated conical parasol is antique brass on the outside and mirror on the inside. The light never reaches the eye directly; it strikes the mirrored face first, then spreads to the table and the room. The ring-chain gallery running around the rim works as a pierced band — light passes between the rings and lays a chain pattern on the wall, the ceiling and the tabletop. That is the lamp's real work: less illumination than a halo left in the room.

Three candle arms open outward from the fluted central column. The stem is reeded, the base round and flat, keeping the weight low so the lamp sits still. Every metal surface is antique brass, worked by hand — no two pieces age alike.

Dimensions: 25 cm diameter, 32 cm high. For a bedside table, a console, a desk, a bookshelf.

Made to order. Size, colour and quantity change on request; the metal and the electrical fittings are specified for each order.
