The smallest of them, held on the wall.

The sconce size of Vintage Halo. The pleated parasol is antique brass outside and mirror inside — and on a wall this is where that mirror shows most. The light turns off the mirrored face rather than leaving the bulb directly, so what spreads across the wall is a halo rather than a beam. The ring-chain gallery at the rim divides it into separate rings and lays a chain of shadow on the plaster.

Two candle arms stand opposite one another beneath the shade. It mounts on a round backplate worked with gadrooning; the shepherd's-crook arm carries the shade forward, so the light leaves the wall and enters the room.

Dimensions: 25 cm diameter, 30 cm high. For a hallway, a stairwell, a bedside, beside a fireplace, along a dining room wall. It reads best used as a symmetrical pair.

Made to order. Size, colour and quantity change on request; metal and electrical fittings are specified per order.
