Warm light inside cool metal.

A single pierced sheet is bent to an arch, its top edge curling back into a second shell above the body, with a second arched panel standing within. The antique nickel surface turns the light a grey-silver; the perforations break it into thousands of points and lay a woven shadow across the surfaces around it.

Antique nickel is the cooler, more contemporary counterpart to antique brass. It settles into rooms built of grey, charcoal and white, of steel and glass. Each body is aged by hand; no two are identical.

Two sizes are made: 30 cm high on a 15 × 15 cm base, and 56 cm high on a 23 × 23 cm base. The smaller for a table, a bedside, a shelf; the larger beside a chair, in a hallway, or on the floor itself. The small size has a hinged front panel closed with a ball catch, opening for bulb changes.

Wired for 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz, with cord and plug.

Made to order. Metal and electrical fittings are determined per order according to indoor or outdoor use; for outdoor orders, weather-suited material and sealing are applied. Size, colour and quantity change on request.
