Wall Sconce

The classic problem with a picture light is the cable. You want light above a painting, there is no socket on that wall, a channel has to be cut and the paintwork is lost. This model removes the problem: it is rechargeable, cordless, and fixed to the wall with a single screw or an adhesive mount.

When the charge runs down you lift the fitting off, charge it and hang it back. Move the painting and the light moves with it — for a tenant, or for anyone who rearranges often, that is a freedom a hard-wired fitting cannot offer.

It throws light down and forward, washing the face of the picture without leaving a hotspot on the frame. It suits paintings, mirrors, shelves, bookcases, corridor walls and stairwells, and works equally on hotel-room and office walls.

The body is made and hand-finished in our workshop.

Available made to measure in other sizes and colours, and in production runs for contract projects. Handmade in Istanbul.
