An octagonal lantern: four faces open, four closed. The open faces release the light, the closed ones hold it, so the piece looks different from every angle — a cage you can see into from one side, a closed mass from the other.

The metal surface is not flat; it is covered in a fine grain. Light slides across that texture and the surface never reads as a plain sheet.

Above sits a pyramid roof and, at its apex, a ring handle. The handle is not decoration: the lantern is carried by hand, hung from a branch or a hook, taken from the table out to the terrace. Inside, the light source is a portable LED disc — no cable, no hunting for a socket.

That is exactly why it does three jobs at once: a candle lantern at the centre of the table in the evening, a table lamp on a console or a bedside, an outdoor lantern in the garden and on the terrace.

Colour options: cream, white, black and gold. All are custom-mixed paint finishes, not platings; the surface stays matte and even and will not flake over time.

In pairs, or in threes at different heights, the effect is stronger. For dining tables, terrace floors, the edge of a garden path, entrance halls and bedrooms.
