Table Lamp

Stellar is not built from a single body but from slices stacked one on another. Each slice is a separately machined aluminium ring; light escapes in horizontal bands through the narrow gaps left between them. Lit, what you see is not a bulb but a run of light lines following one another.

The top plate is closed and carries an organic, flowing cut at its centre — the only exception to the regular horizontal lines of the body. Three brass-headed nuts hold the plate in place and leave warm points against the grey matt surface of the raw aluminium.

The lower section is cut differently: here the slices follow a wave rather than a straight line. Near the surface it rests on, the lamp casts a softer, curving shadow; sharp lines above, waves below.

The aluminium is left raw. The machining marks remain visible and do not hide how the piece was made. Anodised or painted finishes can be produced on request.

Stellar is made one at a time in our workshop. Dimensions, finish and light arrangement vary with the order, and the piece is prepared differently for interior or sheltered exterior use.
