Table Lamp

A minimal table lamp with an antique brass surface. There is no ornament; the whole effect comes from proportion and the colour of the metal itself. The warmth of the brass makes a focal point on the table even before the lamp is switched on.

It is made in heights from 31 to 45 cm. The range is not arbitrary: 31 cm is the right proportion for a bedside table or a bookshelf, 45 cm for a desk or a console. Taller lamps dominate a bedside; shorter ones fall short on a desk.

The metal body is made for long service, in our own workshop in Turkey. The antique brass surface is finished by hand; it darkens over time and finds its own tone with use.

It uses a GU10 lamp holder. The advantage of that holder is the breadth of lamps available: by changing the colour and beam of the lamp you can use the same fitting as a reading light or as ambient light. Bulb not included.

It suits desks, consoles, bedside tables, bookshelves, hotel rooms and reception desks, and reads more orderly as a symmetrical pair.

Available made to measure in other sizes and colours.
