Tray

Rattan weave held between two layers of clear acrylic. The solution removes both of the familiar problems with woven trays at once: dirt working into the weave, and fibres lifting and catching over time. Protected, the weave keeps its natural look, while the top surface stays flat and easy to wipe.

Showing a natural texture under glass turns it from a material into a pattern. The tray gives you the warmth of rattan and the practicality of a flat surface together.

The frame is metal in an antique brass finish. The surface is not a plating but a hand-applied patina, and it darkens with time. The earth tone of the rattan and the yellow of the brass come from the same warm family, so neither overwhelms the other.

Use it for breakfast, coffee and drinks service; empty, it sits as a decorative object on a console or coffee table. It suits modern and classical interiors alike.

Wipe with a damp cloth; not dishwasher safe and should not be left to soak.

Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Handmade in our own Istanbul workshop.
