Tray

A round tea tray, 30 cm across. The circle suits the way tea is actually served: the pot or the sugar bowl in the middle, the glasses around it. With no corners it can be turned on the table so everyone reaches from their own side.

The base is acrylic and the rim is metal finished in antique brass. Acrylic is light, which matters when the tray is full — the weight of a glass-based tray tells once six glasses of tea are on it. It also does not break if it is dropped.

The antique brass surface is not a plating but a hand-applied patina, and it darkens with time.

Use it for tea and coffee service, for cake, for carrying breakfast, or as a tabletop organiser. Empty, it sits as a decorative object on a coffee table or console.

Wipe with a damp cloth; not for the dishwasher or high heat.

Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Handmade in our own Istanbul workshop.
