A pendant Ø60 cm across and 120 cm tall. Rectangular panels opening on four sides with a central dome above — that is the basic scheme of the Moroccan lantern. The panels spread the light evenly in four directions; the dome catches what escapes upward and returns it.

The body is antique brass, while the chain and fixings are black metal. The contrast is deliberate: the black suspension reads out of the picture and attention stays on the body. Visually, the black chain shortens the distance between ceiling and fitting.

The antique brass surface is not a plating but a patina worked into the metal, and it darkens over time. The motifs are opened by hand and every edge is trued individually.

At 120 cm tall it asks for a ceiling of at least 3 metres. It suits hotel lobbies, reception areas, large living rooms, villa entrances and restaurants.

Bulb not included. Chain length is shortened or extended on request. Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Handmade in Istanbul since 1984.
