Carved patterning worked into a metal body, an antique brass surface, and black metal fittings. Bringing the three together is deliberate: the black chain and fixings step back visually, leaving attention on the brass body, and the connection at the ceiling never looks cluttered.

Carving is not the same as cutting — the metal is not pierced and emptied but worked to give the surface depth. So the pattern is visible lit and unlit alike: by day a shadowed texture across the body, by night a relief picked out by light.

Glass is set between the carved sections, softening and spreading the light. The piece therefore gives both a warm golden atmosphere and enough real light to serve the area beneath it.

The finish is antique brass — a patina worked into the metal rather than a plating, and it darkens over time.

It suits hotel lobbies, fine restaurants, villa living rooms and boutique hotel rooms.

Bulb not included. Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Handmade in Istanbul.
