A domed, pierced pendant. The dome is the oldest shape in lighting: it gathers light downward and spreads it evenly outward, which is why mosque and bathhouse architecture has used it for centuries. This chandelier carries that geometry at a smaller scale.
The body is built in cast brass with an antique brass finish. Cast brass is thicker and heavier than sheet, so when the motif is cut the edges hold a deeper shadow — and that depth sharpens the pattern the light draws on the wall.
The motifs are worked into the body one at a time and every edge is trued by hand after cutting. The antique brass surface is not a plating but a patina worked into the metal, and it darkens over time.
It suits hotel lobbies, restaurants, cultural buildings, mosques and large seating areas. Under a high ceiling it holds the space alone; under a standard one it works in a group.
Bulb not included. Chain length set on request. Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Made in our own Istanbul workshop since 1984.
