Chandelier

A hexagonal lantern, set against the ceiling. The sloping shoulders and pointed finial of a classic street lantern are kept; the chain and the tall body are gone, and what remains rests straight against the plaster. A Ø60 cm surface, only 28 cm deep.

The frame is built from slim profiles. Each panel sits in a frame of its own: a horizontal collar above, six angled faces below, meeting at a single point. The metal draws the structure, the glass fills it — the ratio between the two is this fixture's whole character.

The glass is opal and frosted. It hides the bulb; the light scatters as it passes through, and every face of the hexagon reads at a slightly different brightness. Even unlit, the matte white planes give the ceiling volume — the fixture has a form whether or not it is switched on.

Made in two finishes: antique brass and matte black. The brass reads warm and traditional, the black graphic and sharp — the same form translated into two different rooms.

WHERE IT WORKS Designed for entrance halls, vestibules, corridors, stair landings, covered porches and colonnades. It gives scale to large rooms with low ceilings, where a hanging fixture will not fit.

CARE Wipe with a dry or lightly damp soft cloth. No abrasive cleaners, polish or metal brightener. The brass patina deepens over time; this is the material ageing, not a defect.

MADE Handmade in our own workshop in Istanbul. Available as a bespoke order in the diameter, finish and socket count you require — Ø45 cm and Ø75 cm are also possible.
