Two translucent acrylic discs overlapping, carried on an antique brass metal body. The light reflects upward off the reeded brass cones beneath the discs and softens on the way; it fills the room with a balanced, warm brightness and leaves no glare.

This is what indirect lighting means. The light never travels straight down: it strikes the inner face of the brass cone, reflects onto the disc, and only then spreads into the room. That three-step path takes the hardness out of the lamp entirely, and the yellow of the brass adds warmth at the reflection — a white painted surface would not do the same.

Overlapping two discs breaks the flatness of single-disc fittings and gives the ceiling depth.

Its shallow form is made for low ceilings, saving height in corridors, halls, bedrooms and studies where a pendant cannot be used. The total height is only 16 cm.

The body is made by hand in our Istanbul workshop and the brass surface is aged by hand.
