Ottoman motifs worked into a pierced metal body. In Ottoman lighting the pattern is never only ornament; it is the filter that decides how much light reaches the room. The closer and finer the perforations, the softer the light becomes.

On this model the motifs are spread across the whole body, so what you get is not one strong source but a golden brightness wrapping the walls and ceiling. It is at its best as the only light left on when the main lighting goes off.

The finish is antique brass. It is not a plating; it is worked into the metal itself with a chemical patina and hand sanding, and it darkens with time. Lit, the yellow of the brass turns golden — an effect no painted surface can produce.

The perforations are opened by hand and every edge is trued individually after cutting.

It suits modern lobbies, reception areas, traditionally furnished living rooms, dining rooms and restaurants.
