A diamond-shaped body with window details opened through it in layers. That is what Ottoman and Moroccan geometry share: not one pattern but several laid over each other. Passing through those layers, the light is broken once more at every stage.

So the piece shows two different things at two different distances. Up close you read the workmanship of the piercing, the fineness of the cuts, the grain of the brass. From across the room you read the pattern of light thrown onto the wall and ceiling — and that is the real performance.

The body is antique brass, working together with glass. The perforations are opened by hand and every edge trued individually; the surface is a patina worked into the metal rather than a plating, and it darkens with time.

It suits reception rooms, hotel lobbies, restaurants, dining rooms and entrance halls. Dark-coloured walls show the light pattern most clearly.

Bulb not included. Chain length is set on request. Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Made in our own Istanbul workshop since 1984.
