A two-tier body carrying Moroccan geometric patterning. Two tiers solve a problem a single tier cannot: in a large room one plane of light fills the centre and leaves the edges dark. The upper tier throws light up and outward, the lower one down, so the space lights evenly.

It is designed for high-ceilinged, generous rooms such as hotel lobbies. In spaces like those it is not enough for a chandelier to be decorative; it has to give enough real light to fill in a form at reception and to read by in the seating area.

The finish is antique brass with black metal fittings. The black suspension and fixings read out of the picture — the usual choice when a long drop under a high ceiling should not draw attention to itself.

The patterns are opened by hand and every edge trued individually after cutting. The surface is not a plating but a patina worked into the metal, and it darkens over time.

It suits hotel lobbies, reception areas, large living rooms and high entrance halls.

Bulb not included. Size, tier count and drop are set per project. Made in our own Istanbul workshop since 1984.
