A pendant built on an iron cage with brass and glass detailing. The iron cage carries the load; the brass and glass sit on it. That separation keeps large chandeliers from losing their shape — brass on its own is soft and sags over the years.

The geometric motifs wrapping the body come from Ottoman architecture. In Ottoman buildings those motifs lived on fixed surfaces; here, combined with light, they gain movement and spread through the room as they fall on wall and ceiling.

Glass details sit between the motifs and soften the light, giving a brightness that keeps the pattern without tiring the eye.

The finish is antique brass — a patina worked into the metal rather than a plating, and it darkens over time.

It suits hotel lobbies, reception areas, restaurants in historic buildings and prestigious corridors. In stone-walled, arched rooms the motifs find their proper setting.
