Hand-carved geometric and floral motifs. Islamic art uses these two families together: geometry stands for order, the plant pattern for movement. On the body of this chandelier the two are worked into each other — curving branches running between straight lines.

Hand carving is not the same as a pressed pattern. Every line is opened separately and its depth follows the maker's hand, so two pieces of the same model are never identical: parts of the pattern sit deeper, parts shallower, and the light magnifies that difference.

The body is built in brass and metal and finished in a gold tone. Light filters through the carving, laying both a geometric and an organic pattern across wall and ceiling.

It suits hotel lobbies, fine restaurants, classically furnished living rooms and dining rooms. Dark walls and timber ceilings show the pattern most clearly.

Bulb not included. Chain length set on request. Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Made in our own Istanbul workshop since 1984.
