The fracture faces of a stone fallen from the sky. The Meteor Planter comes from a single idea: no two faces share an angle. The body reaches its widest point at the middle and tapers to the mouth above and the base below — like a standing mass of rock.
COLOUR: Matte White Matte white belongs to the same family as stone and travertine — it recedes on light ground and lets the plant come forward. It does not shrink small terraces and balconies.
MATERIAL AND MAKING The body is made from 1.5 mm galvanised metal sheet. Each face is cut, folded and welded to its neighbour; the welds are ground back by hand into the surface. The result is a single, seamless-looking body — no assembly, no screws.
FINISH Electrostatic powder coating, baked. Because the powder bonds electrostatically and cures in the oven, it is far more durable than ordinary paint: it resists scratching, does not fade in sun, does not blister in damp, does not flake in winter.
WHY GALVANISED METAL The galvanised coating protects the metal against corrosion; the body does not rust. It is far lighter than concrete, stone or terracotta of the same size — one person can move it even when planted. That makes it practical on balconies, terraces and roof gardens with limited load capacity. It does not need to come indoors for winter and will not crack in frost.

DRAINAGE AND PLANTING There is a drainage hole in the base, so water does not collect in the body. Plant directly into the planter or use an inner liner (bucket or plastic pot). A liner makes changing the soil easier and keeps water off the floor indoors. Suitable for olive, lemon, bay, box, bamboo, bonsai, cactus and succulents. (Plant not included.)
WHERE IT WORKS Entrances and doorways, terraces and balconies, roof gardens, garden paths, poolside, hotel and restaurant entrances, shop windows and showrooms. Used in pairs it frames an entrance symmetrically; used alone it gathers a corner. It can also be used indoors.
CARE Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or solvents. The powder-coated surface needs no maintenance and should not be polished. It can stay outdoors through winter; keep the drainage hole clear.
