Side Table

A side table Ø33 cm across and 65 cm tall. Sixty-five centimetres is just above a standard armrest — the height at which you can set your glass down without leaving your seat. A lower table makes you lean; a taller one cuts the sight line.

The top is bronze mirror. Everything set on it — a glass, a book, a candle, a vase — appears a second time in the reflection. On a narrow table that matters: the mirror enlarges a small surface visually and keeps it from looking bare when nothing is on it.

The body is all metal, and because the weight is distributed low it does not tip despite the slender form. The antique brass surface is not a plating but a hand-applied patina, and it darkens with time.

Use it as a side table beside a chair, as a display stand on a console or dining table, or as an alternative to a bedside table. Two or three at different heights sit better together than one alone.

Available made to measure in other sizes and colours. Made in our Istanbul workshop.
