Chandelier

A cylindrical glass body held in an antique brass frame. The vertical rod motifs across the glass break the light into upright lines, so looking up you see not the source but a curtain of light coming down.

Each glass panel is cut and set into its frame individually. The frame is bent in our workshop, and the joints are soldered and trued by hand. The antique brass surface is not a plating but a patina worked into the metal itself, and it deepens with time.

A cylinder has no front. Seen from any angle it presents the same silhouette, which is why it works over a table standing in the middle of a room, a bar counter, or a reception desk that is read from every side.

It suits hotel lobbies, restaurant bars, cafés, dining rooms and modern bohemian interiors. Along a long counter it can be hung in evenly spaced runs of two or three.

Bulb not included. Chain and drop are set to your ceiling height. Available made to measure in a different diameter, height or colour. Handmade in Istanbul.
